Meet Dr. Stephen Curry
Dr. Curry joined our team as Medical Director in 2026. He is originally from Sikeston, Missouri, a small farming community in southeast Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with honors in 2005. Over the years, he has practiced both in academia and private practice, moving to Cottleville in 2025.
Dr. Curry is passionate about teaching. He relishes opportunities to work with owners to ensure they understand recommendations and diagnoses, as well as different treatment options.
In addition to being our medical director, he is still a faculty member at Southeast Missouri State University, where he works with pre-veterinary students in the Animal Sciences Department. He’s very proud to have helped dozens of future veterinarians on the path to academic and professional success.
Dr. Curry is married to his high school sweetheart, Sarah. They have two children, Truman and Harper. Truman is a student at Missouri S&T in Rolla with aspirations to become a physicist. Harper is enrolled at his alma mater, the University of Missouri in Columbia, where she hopes to gain the tools to become an entrepreneur.
He is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve you and your pets!
Fun Fact: His favorite animal movie is "Never Cry Wolf", more well known as "White Fang". Also really loves "Milo & Otis".
