Prevent Disease Before It Starts
Our goal is to prevent disease before it starts. Your pets are counting on you to protect them against dangerous diseases to ensure they remain happy and healthy!
Here in St. Charles County, we’re seeing an increase in cases of leptospirosis, a serious disease that can cause permanent kidney and liver damage. These bacteria can often survive in contaminated puddles and streams, posing a risk to both pets and humans. Due to the seriousness of this disease, leptospirosis is now considered a core vaccine for all dogs, recommended annually.
If you have any questions about the best way to protect your pets, we’re always happy to chat with you. You can also learn more at Cottleville Animal Hospital.
