Dr. Claire King

Dr. King cultivated a strong passion for animals from an early age, growing up surrounded by a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. Her caretaker instincts, combined with a profound interest in science, flourished during her school years, ultimately guiding her towards a career dedicated to animal care and welfare. Dr. King earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Prince Edward Island, Atlantic Veterinary College. Before attending veterinary school, she gained valuable experience as a veterinary technician while completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Missouri. She is Fear Free certified and a Certified Cat Friendly veterinarian. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, pain management, preventative care, nutritional management, and critical care. Dr. King is committed to providing comprehensive patient care and empowering clients to make decisions about their pets’ healthcare.
